Feels like Thumbelina.

So today i am Miss Clam. Though my outfit makes me look more like a Fairy - You'll see why later, i'm not fully geared up in this photo haha.
I realised that every time i want to make a selfie backstage i always catch my friend doing a selfie too.
Girls will be girls....or, My friend is just a cam whore haha.



Todays eye make up is like a starry mask. I decided to wear big eye lenses today because i thought it will make me look more dolly for this costume.
My eyes are super bling bling today!!!

Worst part was when kids start pulling on it. I tried not to move around too much in this costume because if there was a child behind me and i turned around, i'd slap them right in the face. haha!
Had to be super careful, especially when there were loads of people!

I felt a little like Thumbelina, except i'm much bigger and i'm growing out of a huge bling bling clam and not a rose. Haha! Anyway! Miss Clam needs to hide back in her shell. So i will end this blog here. hehe

With this new disguise i'm sure to not get followed around by paparazzi. Oh wait, i think with this look i'd get more attention? With this sweet strawberry blonde hair i will surely be turning hell loadsa heads in Hong Kong!

As you know i am not the kind of person to wear colour contacts, false lashes and un-natural hair colour on a daily basis. It just not my thing, "KILL ALL FAKERY!" But of course, time to time on special occasions i do like to have a bit of fun and fool around with my look for some fun and some laughs.
The funny thing is not too long ago i posted up a status saying how i wanted to change my hair colour but at the same time didn't want to destroy my natural black hair by hair dye. I guess this is a easy way to change my look now, thanks to the following steps of Pinkicon products.

First up: MagicMagic GREEN & BROWN Circus Circle Lenses. 






First things first, the packaging couldn't be more kawaii. Kawaii not Cute, it's different. Girls would know what i mean lol. The lenses has a Diamond pattern that gives you're eyes that extra sparkle and it also helps the blending with your original eye colour to have the best natural outcome. Nothing is worse than having super fake coloured lenses. This green circle lens has perceptions from 0-800! Good for people like me who are literally blind. haha

PROS: They definitely blend well with you're own eye colour and my natural eye colour is a very dark brown that's pretty difficult to find coloured contacts that could look natural. My eyes did indeed looked bigger and brighter too after having these on.

CONS: Not really a con but more of a general warning about coloured lenses. If you're a first timer with contact lenses and want to start wearing coloured lenses i personally don't recommend circle lenses because they are more difficult to put into the eyes and since the surface area is much bigger and all coloured lenses are slightly thicker than normal contacts it makes your eyes easier to dry up and reveal small blood vessels after a few hours. I have very sensitive eyes so i stick to daily contact lenses, if you have sensitive eyes remember not to wear colored contacts or circle lenses for over 4 Hours as they may damage your eyes. For normal eyes, you're still not meant to wear them for over 8 hours.

The soft and flexible backbone makes these super easy to handle and comfortable to wear." with MagicMagic false eyelash glue which can be used in a hurry with it's simple application brush which sticks well and becomes tacky in a short amount of time!

PROS: I don't like false lashes full stop, especially those which have a thick back bone because they are so uncomfortable and hard to put on and the glue never seems strong enough to hold them up the hole day when i work. The backbone of these lashes were thicker then the usual ones i prefer but strangely they were very light and extremely flexible and easy to handle.

CONS: Keeping the lashes clean would be more difficult as they are made from real hair. I'd say best not apply mascara over them, they are highly volumed already anyway.



Put the two magicmagic products together and you'll get the gorgeous japanese anime eyes! (with added eyeliner and mascara on bottom lashes) As you can see the green lenses look very bright but once put into the eyes, the colour becomes much more natural.

HANAKO Full Wig.





It's Sexy and it's loose curls will make you look like you've just stepped out of a Salon for a fab photoshoot! It's made from soft premium quality japanese kanekalon fibre that looks really realistic and natural. If this Strawberry Pink is a little WOW for you then you can always choose the Brown.

PROS: From far this wig colour looks pink but close up it's a more of a natural blonde with strawberry highlights. It's really pretty and super soft and easy to comb.

CONS: The fringe isn't so head friendly so you really got to style it to your liking. I have a small head so the fringe was just too long, therefore i decided to go the the anime girl look hehe! Then again you can always cut the fringe if your badass enough! xD I'm a coward.

So after putting everything together i took the first photo of this blog. But one other thing i realized, is that i looked a little bit familiar.....

NYX - The Caribbean Collection - I Dream of Barbados.

This Palette is from NYX's Caribbean Collection - I Dream of Barbados-palette. A sunset blazing over a tropical beach apparently, or in my case for the coming December, The Frozen Lavender.

I know the original collection's name has the word "Caribbean" in it and naturally we think of a hot colourful summer with lot's of flowers, beaches, fruit punch and naked ladies? LOL. But no, thats the fun part about make up, you can get creative, mix and produce a new meaning from a single colour - besides, we have 5 in this palette hoho. (It could be just be the fact that i'm cheap and lazy so i like to make one palette do it all. haha) Whatever the reason, i'm sure you get my point.




I've used all the colors in the palette using mostly the silvers to blend with the purples to create this cold dreamy grayish purple look for the winter.
The colors are pigmented and soft and like i mentioned, theres so many combos you can come up with this palette. You can do either a basic smokey eye using the gray and black, or a smokey plum using the purples or for a nice winter look using the grays and purples, my Frozen Lavender look. Hehe.

Long nails, Guitars and the BLING.

Finally being all recovered i can resume to my normal busy schedule. Not working for a whole week i think has made me really lazy. I mean, i do enjoy the sleeping late, no make up, the daily cooking and the non-stop video gaming and home movies but too much of it makes these things - the things that you look forward to on the holidays become, boring? It's like when you have a favorite food, you shouldn't eat it too often otherwise you'd get sick of it. That's why a holiday is called a holiday if you understand what i mean.



Today i was doing a photoshoot with super glamorous bling'd up nails. I don't really remember when i last had my nails done up so "exaggeratedly" is that a word? Exaggeratedly? Anyway, i think i must have been around sixteen or younger and when fake & well decorated nails where THE THING for young girls. Okay, let me tell you something which will probably piss a lot of you guys off or would think i'm stupid. When i was very young i played the guitar, i wasn't great but i guess knowing the cords for a couple of songs i liked considered me good. (No, i wasn't, 'cause they were the only things i could play haha!) But anyway, that was back in the day when i wasn't pretty and was a short hair'd tomboy with thick glasses. Hmm, i can tell this is going to drag, BASICALLY, i betrayed my guitar for nails. As you know you can't play the guitar with long nails and, i was trying to get out of that geek look. - Of course, this was before when GEEKS and NERDS weren't cool! Now that i'm older and learnt that we totally rule, i can be myself and not give a shit.

So, i would spend ours when i was younger doing my nails(before i could afford to be lazy and get it done for me), i was really good at it! I must do a post showing some of them one day, i was even featured once in a magazine teaching people how to design their nails! Yays! I had all the equipment and i even did nail piercings. Seriously over the top but it was cool back then. So why did i stop? because it wasn't convenient with my career. Ends up now - they not convenient or practical with anything to me! Before i couldn't do anything without them but now after i got them done for this shoot, i couldn't do jack shit! LOL. People had to help dress me, they had to do everything for me today haha! They look so beautiful! But i guess i'm just not used to them anymore.

I can say i'm fully recovered now and back to work.
I must say though, i got a chance to complete some PS3 games during my time at home in recovery and planning to make another game blog soon. Not only PS3 but also i've been downloading a lot of games for my ipad too. heehee.

Anyway, todays shoot was fun and i felt a little like someone from Total Recall or The Fifth Element. - Of course that may just my strange brain acting up. My assistant said i looked more like the new humaniod robot. Coolio! lol.

Another New Beginning?

Have you been thinking about your New Year’s Resolution already? Let me guess. Oh wait, there's no point! No one keeps them anyway! Asking for someones New Years resolution is actually just a conversation starter during the ending weeks of December.

Apparently the world will end this year.
Suddenly everyone wants to live life to it's fullest. It makes me laugh. Why? Because first of all shouldn't you be living life to the fullest on a daily basis? I mean, people die unexpectedly everyday! If people only die when the world ends then even more you should of been treasuring every moment!

Okay, so i did think about it. If the world suddenly just exploded and everyone would just die - Let's just say on December 31st 2012. I would go traveling and visit places i have never been before and meet new people! taste different foods! and everyday i would smile and there will be no tears of sorrow but with joy. On the final moment i would love the people of the whole world to just all join hands - now, that would be a scene. Of course, that would just be too much to ask for so i guess the best way for me to leave this earth would be in the arms of my beloved while listening to my best playlist.

Right! Enough of this shit! Point is! Just don't waste anymore time! Try do things differently this year! Just for fun! You never know when your time is. I mean, i may even just choke on a fish bone to death during dinner or walk out of my home to buy some milk and slip on a leaf and just...die lol. Seriously! these things happen!! You know how many people in Hong Kong die from trying to close their window and randomly the window just falls off and takes you with them? That's scary shit! But still! that doesn't mean you life your life taking no risks! I don't want to survive! I want to live!

My Hair.

It's actually the first time i've had a shoot focused on my hair. I've done a lot of hair modeling in the past where i've had my hair from my Natural pitch black bleached to Blond, then ginger, light brown, chestnut, dark brown and now, back to my original black. And it all started when i was 15 - My mother mentioned how my hair was getting "boring" and convinced me to "change" and after getting called a "chicken" by my elder sister i ended up getting highlights. Just kidding, she didn't call me a chicken, but it sounded like she was. From then on i just thought to myself "oh well, i've already damaged my hair, might as well." Got to try these things while you're young i guess, but it was also because of this thought that my hair became so damaged - Plus my work doesn't help much either with all the tongs and curling irons.

Anyway, my hair is slowly healing up well over time. (with help from my Sponsor Alex! God i love him!)

The Body Shop: Brush With Fashion.

The Body Shop and London College of Fashion launched a limited-edition, sustainable, cruelty-free makeup and brushes collection for Spring 2011 called "Brush with Fashion". First things first: LOVE the packaging! It's so cute, simple and CHIC! ♥

The illuminating face base (shade 01).
A very sheer base. The illuminating face base is actually not a foundation, although you can use it as one. It's actually just a highlighter! To be honest with you i didn't see much of a difference after applying this. Maybe it's because of my skin tone though...

Hi-Shine Lip Treatment
If you like scented lipgloss you'll like this. In my case, it brought me back to my childhood when I would buy The Body Shop lip balm in every flavour so I loved the scent :) Personally, i don't really like lip glosses that are too sticky, but i guess it helps if you like to have a gloss with a long stay power.

Tailored Cheek Tint in 01 Hot Pink.
I loved that this gave me a very fresh look, although the shade is probably not one that I would pick myself, I do think it's pretty. Perhaps it's just the fact that I'm not a big fan of cheek stains or cream blushes but this wasn't my favourite. I found it quite difficult to use and a little patchy. However, I think I need to just get used to applying it better.



Eyeshadow palette 01, Boho Beauty.
What I really liked about these is that they came with an actual brush and a mini eye-pencil. I actually quite like The Body Shop's eye pencils so I was happy about this. This palette's eyeshadows are all matte and OMG, are they pigmented! I was extremely impressed. They come off SO strong that I really had to blend them for a more natural look and no fall-out! - except for the darkest brown (a little). These are very high quality shadows and easy to use. A big thumbs up!



Eyeshadow palette 02, A La Mode.
Once again all the colors are significantly pigmented and it wasn't too hard to blend the silver with the black. Blending is the key to a good smokey eye makeup. That's why eye shadows like these are such a great thing to use as it requires only minimum amount of effort to blend.
I decided to leave out the Pink in for this look. - I didn't want to bother getting over creative with my make up today. haha. Maybe next time.

Overall I was very pleased with this collection. I think the packaging is pretty and i was really impressed with quality of their shadows.

Dry, cracked feet are never sexy.

I'm starting this both with a blog about FEET! Yes! You read me! FEET!!
Women tend to think of their Face before everything else.
When they think of Beauty, most people would think about the face.
Of course the Face is important! But a lot of Women forget about their Feet!

I remember one day i met a Model during my work - Beautiful Skin, Beautiful Face.
She needed help with the buckle on their heels so i offered to help her out. Her foot was so winkled and dry! I had to look up to check it was the same girl with the pretty face.

Ladies, Don't forget your feet!
When your skin is dry, you'd know to put on cream. But still, many people forget the feet! Why?
I've seen so many girls with dry heels, dry ankles, dry toes! It's not attractive at all!
Especially when Spring is here and you're going to start wearing sandals or summer heels. It doesn't matter how pretty or expensive the shoes are if they are going to show your dry cracked foot!

Lotion and cream is a must. Once in a while, you should try a nice Foot Mask.
Hand Bouquet: Rich Butter Foot Mask.



I'm one of those people who loves wearing sandals, so it's easier for my feet to get dry. After every Shower i would put Lotion on my body and Feet. Trust me, this routine is bound to keep your foot/heels feeling soft.
Anyway, back to the foot mask...
I use a foot mask maybe once a month, which might not be enough but i don't like to overdose my skin. I like to train my skin to naturally survive on it's own without too much effort and care. I'm a busy person and when i'm not busy, i'm very lazy. That's why it's good to train my skin.



The foot mask comes with plastic socks to make it less messy.
You'd feel the thick buttery cream as you put on the foot mask. It's good...
I leave it on slightly longer as i only treat my feet to this once a month.

The result is Very moist and glowing feet. The skin looked so healthy.
I recommend this if you have dried skin around your feet.
Another cheaper alternative that I can think of is to apply shea butter from Bodyshop or any other brand.

No make up? No problem!

So i woke up one morning and went outside into the living room and found a ring light!
I was like, wooooahhh! There was like a mini Studio set up outside, i guess my sister was doing another review on some skin care product. So i took a snap shot right away for fun while she was in the bathroom.



As you can see i am in my PJs haha!!! Look at my eyes!!! There's a circle! Purdyy~~~
Then i realized it was taken with her camera so i had to wait till she finished using it to get this picture off her. haha.
My sister was like, "Why do you want it? My camera is very HD! You don't even have make up on."
I did pause for a moment there looking at this photo thinking, "Do i really look that bad? SHould i post this photo up? is it gonna scare my viewers away?"
Maybe i'm just overly vain about myself LOL, i really didn't think it was such a BAD photo that it couldn't be posted.

Truth is, i am very proud of my skin thank you very much.
It's the one thing i think i can boast about.
I don't think i look at all bad without make up.
It's not the first time i've posted a picture without make up on.
Some said i look "average" without make up or even "different". Some called me a liar because they didn't believe i didn't had no make up on. Nyeh~ the truth hurts guys LOL FACE IT!

Number 1, i may have uneven coloured skin but the quality is great. (it sounds like i trying to sell you guys pearls, "The colour isn't the best, but the quality is excellent! No spots and with great shine!" LMAO) .....

I heard that Michelle Phan told her viewers that an average asian girl uses up to 9 skin care products daily and she herself uses up to 4-5 daily. I'm sorry, but NINE?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FUCKING MIND?! I seriously can't name Nine skin care products that CAN be used daily! You're not meant to use masks everyday, nor exfoliate everyday. Oh talking about exfoliating, Michelle also told her viewers once in her blogs that she exfoliates everyday.... it's bad to exfoliate everyday!!! i hope she's stopped doing that. It's not something a Guru needs to know, it's common sense! Yes, i used to be a fan, but that was until she started to talk a lot of bullshit.

So... What i use on a daily bases? FANCL's Milky lotion and water. No lies.

The secret to great looking skin? Eat less oily foods, cut back on red meat, drink more water and eat more Vegetable and fruit. Finally, get some fucking sleep. Nine products my ass.

Number 2, do you know the secret to looking good without make up?

My Eyebrows.

I have thick eye brows. I don't have to draw on them at all.
Girls with brows look better without make up compared to girls with no brows.
I'm serious! Think about it. Imagine me without brows. LOL.

Why is it that Kogals in japan look dead without any make up? because they all shave off their brows.

So please, don't shave off those brows. The brows are very important, they show character and expression. That's why people who don't have brows nor make up look sleepy! or even.... DEAD!

Lastly, relax, take it easy and be happy. Did you know? Happy people have a natural smile on their face even when they are not smiling?
